    Yes , Your new number can easily be ported to a mobile or VoIP phone, including T-Mobile / AT&T / Verizon / LycaMobile / Google Voice. Landlines, on the other hand, must be associated with an area code for the region where they are used.You can use a Miami area code with your mobile or VoIP carrier in Seattle, but you would need a 206 area code for your landline.
